A benefit presented by MercyOne Genesis for Cancer Support Community at Gilda’s Club to support those in our community that are living with cancer. This is our signature event and a night to honor Gilda Radner, original cast member on Saturday Night Live who understood that laughter is the best medicine, and the inspiration behind Gilda’s Club.
Featured Comedian:
Tom Cotter took the comedy scene by storm after finishing runner-up and becoming the Breakout Star from Season 7’s “America’s Got Talent.” Tom was the first comedian ever to be a finalist on the show and was invited back to perform in “America’s Got Talent: The Champions.” His special, “Tom Cotter: Rapid Fire” is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. Whether it be comedy, voice-overs, or acting, Tom Cotter gives it everything he’s got. “If laughter is the best medicine, I yearn to be drugged.”
Don’t miss this chance to see him live! Come out to laugh and then dance the night away to local fan favorite, Funktastic Five.
Your ticket includes heavy hors d’oeuvres, cash bar, comedy show and live music. An exciting night to raise funds to support those in our community impacted by cancer with a robust silent auction, wine and whiskey pull and fund a need.
Funds raised at this event stay locally to support the NO COST programs and services provided by Cancer Support Community Iowa and NW Illinois.
